Due to the volatility of shipping prices globally right now, shipping fees for this project will be calculated at a later date once we have the best estimates for everyone. Is the Museum Display Item ALSO a part of the "Hero Pack | in-game Statue"?
Yes, it is included! The rewards page does not reflect this, but rewards cannot be altered after the Kickstarter has gone live so we cannot add it in.

Will you be bringing this game to consoles? / What platforms will Xross be available on?
We will be. We are trying our best to deliver this on consoles, and while we anticipate no difficulties or roadblocks on our end, this is ultimately up to the discretion of Nintendo, PlayStation, Xbox, Steam, and so on. We are in chat with major console developers.
With enough support we may bring the game to iOS/Android.

How can I pick which platform I’d like my game to be for?
After the successful funding of the Kickstarter, we will send out a survey closer to release where you will be able to choose your platform. Only being a three-man studio, this survey will take time to release, so we appreciate the patience! We will notify all backers via the Updates Screen on Kickstarter (and in our Discord) when we have started sending out surveys. (There will be a section in the survey for those that have purchased multiple copies of the game on different platforms).

Will the game look the same upon release? E.g. Environments, etc.
Yes and no. Our hope is that the game will evolve over time to greater heights through community feedback and testing. Currently, the characters and their animations are in good development stages, but the environment tile-map art is a placeholder.

Is the game Co-op? Yes, it is!
Yes! You may play the game single-player, with CPU allies, or couch co-op! We are currently designing the game for up to 3 players. It’s also now Online and LAN enabled too!

Why is there no digital mini-soundtrack add-on option?
We feel that the entire digital soundtrack should be an in-game feature available to anyone who purchases the game and not a purchasable add-on. We plan on implementing this as a ‘Music Library’ on the Main Menu screen, as well as accessible inside the game itself in one form or another.

Discord Roles will be distributed after the end of the campaign period. You will need to keep your associated email handy to be able to verify your tier of backer pledge and acquire the corresponding Discord role. This is something we have to do manually, so please be patient with us :)

How far along is the development of Infinity Knights: Xross?
It’s tough to say. Different parts of the game are at different stages - e.g. enemy design + CPU is way further developed than anything else, whereas story beats and quests that have been designed haven’t yet been implemented in some areas - because those areas aren’t completed (and we need to set specific triggers, so on).
We have been working on Infinity Knights: Xross for over a year, and that has majority been laying down the foundations for faster iterations and development of future content.
The longest part of the development process between now and launch is accruing all the environmental art assets for the game. Once obtained, we will be able to flesh-out the remaining dungeons, over-world maps, characters, move-sets and enemies.
We have an estimated goal of releasing the game in 2025.

How exclusive are the Kickstarter rewards?
Upon commercial release, you can expect that digital copies of the game will be sold on platforms we mentioned in our other FAQ about platforms.
This means that rewards and add-ons such as the creation of certain aspects of the game (such as an NPCs, enemies, fish, Boss, etc.) will only be available through this Kickstarter and at Timesea Studios discretion.
There may eventually be a physical edition of an art book that would include parts of the digital art components (such as the art book, map, wallpaper) but we can’t confirm that as it largely depends on the game’s success.
What we will say is that we have every intention of making sure backers feel like they are valued by us, and we will act with good faith and virtue when it comes to handling rewards.
We are reminded of the fact that backers will have waited and supported us throughout our journey - we will never forget nor underappreciate what that is worth to us.

Is there a general physical version of the game?
We as the creators would be the keenest for a physical copy of the game sitting on our shelf, but at this point in time for a company of three people, we could not guarantee a general physical release of the game.
We are still obviously open to the idea, but factors such as impact on the environment, resources, and the how this campaign proceeds will greatly affect any future plans. It’s much easier for developers these days to produce electronically distributed copies.
We do have the Backer Exclusive Physical available though!

The game will not be released in two months like some other Kickstarter games manage to do. We are a small team (for now), and the aim is for 2025. This aim also gives us time to account for unexpected delays.

Will we be able to specify our names in the credits?
When backer surveys become available after the campaign’s end, you will be able to specify what name you would like to appear in the credits. It does not need to be the name associated with your pledge payment and could be a nickname! (This name must be appropriate and will be reviewed by the team).
Every person who has bought a copy of the game will have their chosen name in the credits. Names will be split into the Title of your tier to more easily find your name. Securing additional copies of the game (for friends or family) will entitle you to more names in the credits (if you so wish).

After selecting a reward tier, all tiers will have the option of selecting additional digital copies of the game as an add-on. Securing additional copies of the game (for friends or family) will entitle you to more names in the credits (if you so wish).

What is BackerKit?
BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!
The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.
How does BackerKit work?
After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.
I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?
The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.
Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.
To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.
How do I update my shipping address?
BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.
When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?
That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.
I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?
As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
Details about some of Infinity Knights: Xross's delivery platforms (e.g. Nintendo Switch 2) are still pending. We will make every attempt to fulfill these requests, but in the event that we cannot, we will be in touch to ask for your next preferred choice.
We'd like to note that the design rewards have to fit into the lore, mechanics, and rules of the game. Some flexibility is appreciated, and while we'll work with you as much as possible to integrate your visions as best as we can - we do have the final say. We will also not tolerate any kind of inappropriate, or offensive, content (e.g. hate speech) and ask that you keep your names and messages friendly.
We reserve every right to do what we think is necessary to preserve the sanctity of Infinity Knights: Xross.

Timesea Studio and Infinity Knights: Xross will not be held responsible for any plagiarized content, such content will immediately be removed and barred from Infinity Knights, whilst all responsibility will fall onto the backer.
We ask kindly that you contact us before sharing pictures of your rewards around on socials. We can help support these posts, but we also would like for this game to not be spoiled accidentally for those who are non-spoiler inclined. Please respect others wishes!
By agreeing to these T&Cs, you also agree not to share exclusive and learned information about the game prior to release, unless permission has been given to do so by Timesea Studio.
